HIV感染症は、毎日薬を飲むことで普通の生活が続けられる疾患です。
どこにいても薬が手に入ること、医療機関とつながることが健康に生活するためにとても重要です。
国境を越えると必要な情報が理解できない、制度がわからないためどこに行ったら良いか分からないため相談する先もなく医療につながれない状況が起こっています。
コロナ禍でその実態がさらに明らかになりました。
移住とHIVアジアフォーラムでは、日本と行き来の多いアジア各国でHIV陽性者を支援している団体が集まり、それぞれの国でのHIV医療体制や外国人が医療にアクセスする際の現状と課題を話し合います。
国境を越えるHIV陽性者(以下PLWH)の治療を継続するために必要な情報と支援体制を知る機会です。ぜひご参加ください。

Organizations supporting People living with HIV (PLWH hereafter) will hold a joint forum to discuss HIV treatment and related systems, issues foreigners face in accessing HIV treatment and support services. It is a prime opportunity for updating and exchanging information and resources about HIV treatment and related systems as well as getting in touch with support organizations in several countries.
If you are a medical professional who is interested in HIV treatment for your PLWH client who is
- planning to go abroad or going back to the country of origin, or
- living in a foreign country with limited HIV-related information
this program will surely be beneficial to you.
